6. How did they travel to the united states? Where did they enter or land upon arrival?  They traveled by boat and entered by New York, Detroit, and down by Mississippi and Louisiana.

7. Where has most of this group settled in the United States? Why? Louisiana & Detroit. That’s where they enter the United States so they Stayed there.

8. What social, linguistic, economic, and cultural hardships have these immigrants faced?  The French faced Religious Practiced Prejudice.

9. Is there a job or jobs that many members of this group typically perform in United States?  Many of them where farmers.  Many worked inn the timber industry thus known as loggers.

What kinds of laws have governed their migration, work and citizenship opportunities, and how have these laws changed over time?  The federal government charged them immigration laws in 1960 up until then only people from Europe and Africa could migrate here because the 1960’s was open immigration. There’s a quota only so many can come in.
