Bad debt expense is matched with associated revenue by using the allowance method, either with the percentage of sales and the aging method. Warranty expense is matched with associated revenue Cash controls and management tools Foreign currency transactions can cause foreign currency gains and losses. The quality and quantity of receivables can be evaluated using ratios and relationships.
