2. Point of the book pt: one This book is about a kid named Connor Broekhart in the 1800s who was born in a hot air balloon and from then on had a craving for flight- and science. First experience he had flying was saving princess Isabella from an explosion on top of the castle (daughter of king Charles of the Saltee islands) and from then on until he was fourteen he was taught by a tutor named Victor Viginy. Until five years later, when he met his and the king’s death, but not by age, by lead.

3. Point of the book pt: two The man responsible for Victors death got all of the blame to land on Connor and got him sent to jail (little saltee- really bad jail). so Connor was left to rot in the jail for years but he had a place for sunlight and a mud wall to conjure a plan to escape.

4. Linus Wynter Linus Wynter is the man who is an inmate with Connor on little saltee. Linus was blind (eyes poked out) and was an incredible musician.

5. Markley Markey was another inmate but was not with Connor and Linus. Markley is very strong and is sent down with Connor to mine crystals.
