經濟 二乙 John 莊鏡澄 BODY LANGUAGE

1. I DON’T KNOW. Shrug your shoulder, and face the palms upwards with arms open. It’ s common to see in a cartoon or movie.

2. IT WASN’T ME! I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING! Wave and cross your arms in front of one’s body with a frown. We use it when we are being misunderstanding.

3. KEEP CALM. Move your hands (palms) up and down, and do it slowly and softly. People use this gesture when somebody is angry or overreacted.

4. OK? Someone forms his / her index finger and thumb into a round shape. In Japan, it means money. But it is still useful in many western countries.

5. COME HERE. Put your hand in the air between your breast and head and wave your palm back and forth. Usually, we use it when someone is too far away from us to hear your voice.

6. BE QUIET! Put one of your index finger on your lips and fist the rest of fingers. You can also make the sound “shh”. If you are annoyed with the guy, you can do this gesture with a frown and make the sound stronger; if you aren’t, just make it friendly.
