Homework Homework assigned daily with the exception of Friday Unless noted, homework is due the next day Practice math facts with flash cards Study spelling words Students should be able to complete work independently Unfinished classwork may become homework

Thursday Envelopes Completed assignments and announcements Review papers with your child Sign and return folder the next day

Birthdays Please, no food or toy items Other ideas: pencils, erasers, or a book in your child’s name

Field Trips Possible trips include: Planetarium at DeAnza College Rancho San Antonio Santa Clara County Water District - at school

Math - Areas of Study Addition and subtraction with regrouping Place value Money Geometry Fractions and decimals Data/Graphs/Probability Multiplication facts Multiplying with 2, 3, and 4 digit numbers Division facts Long division with 2, 3, and 4 digit numbers
