Q: What did Locke, and then Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence, say people should do if the gov’t doesn’t protect their rights? Q: What would the Enlightenment & the American Revolution influence the French to do if they were unhappy with their gov’t? -want democracy -willing to revolt to get it
