4 For 5 points… What is a two party legislature called? Bicameral

5 For 10 points… How often is the national census done? Once every 10 years

6 For 15 points… How many members are there in the House of Representatives? 435.

7 For 20 points… What is a filibuster? When a senator talks as long as they can to postpone the voting on legislation.

10 For 5 Points… What is judicial review? The power of the supreme court to declare laws or presidential actions unconstitutional.

22 For 5 Points… What is federalism? Power is divided between the state and national government.

23 For 5 Points… What is an example of a concurrent power? Power to tax, borrow money, maintain order, charter banks, establish courts, provide for public welfare

24 For 5 Points… What is an example of a delegated power? Declare war, armed forces, regulate interstate and foreign commerce, admit new states, coin money, establish foreign policy, make laws necessary and proper.

25 For 10 Points… What are reserved powers? Powers of the state.

26 For 10 Points… What is popular sovereignty? Source of all power to govern is from the people.
