Lines and Planes Collinear : Points that lie on the same line. Noncollinear: Points that do not lie on the same line. Coplanar: Points that lie on the same plane. Noncoplanar: Points that do not lie on the same plane.

Segments and Rays Line segment: A part of a line. Does not extend forever Ray: a line that extends forever in one direction Opposite Rays: two rays that start at the same point but go in opposite directions
