Community Culture “Community culture holds the consumer economy at bay.” David Schwartz It is the embedded way that a group of people has learned how to live in a place. In a communal culture everything is personal. There is opportunity for gifts to be given. There is order. There is creativity and spontaneity.

Time Treat time as if we have plenty Time is a gift in community be time rather than live in time finding meaning, focal point of existence To have time, we must begin by stopping, then we can see what is possible.

Silence It puts us in contact with the Divine and our own growth. It is a form of communion. It is acceptance of being over doing It opens us to listening beyond ourselves
