INSME – International Network for SMEs 5 Tailored Partner Search It will also include: Mentoring: Provided on request, it includes the identification of organisation/s that are available to be a mentor and offering support in the definition of the needs of the organisation/s asking for assistance in the identification of the potential solutions. Staff Exchange and Secondment: Provided on request, it enables organisations to know each other better and learn from each others experiences. It entails the identification of organisations that are willing to accommodate external staff and support staff exchange. INSME – International Network for SMEs Knowledge Management System (KMS) It offers a system to: Organise, find, distil and present the information exchanged within the INSME portal Improve the Member’s comprehension of and access to the knowledge Help the INSME Members acquire, store and utilise knowledge for problem solving, dynamic learning, strategic planning and decision making This system will use the standard information generated in the Knowledge Sharing Area & Working Groups and will enable INSME Members to collaborate and thus solve problems  Service provider: INSME Secretariat and the platform development (software) will be outsourced  Types of services: reserved for INSME Members and may be for a fee (this will be assessed on a case by case basis)  Target: Policy Makers, Intermediaries and their Networks 10
