2. Theme 1-a new world In grimsdon things are not still the same but not absolutely everything has changed. They can’t have much technology and they need to focus on survival. In this new world they don’t need money to be successful but instead they need skill in all different areas to survive the city. They also need to stick together and become a family this is one thing that has not changed since the floods. In our world here today we find things like money and technology important. I also think that family and friends are also very important too. Many people may think different things so there is not really one answer. If I were to be those kids in the flood staying together would be very important to me, and food and water would also be very important so l could survive. I think I would also think that a boat would be very important. 3. Theme 2-family The kids of grimsdon are like a family because they stick together and if one of them was in trouble the rest of the group would try and that member. The group is inseparable and they will always stay together. Xavier's presence in the palace changes the way they live because at first Isabella wants him to stay and griffin doesn't. this causes arguments. He also brings new machines to help them get around. There are not that many things have changed since Xavier joined them. Griffin finds it hard to trust Xavier because when he first met Xavier he was breaking into their house trying to threaten them. Xavier told Isabella and the kids that his parents were dead and that they died in the flood and that he wanted to live with them because he had been lonely. But his family were still alive and were living happily. His family was rich and had a big house. I still believe that they should trust him because he was helping them and he didn’t do anything really bad to them. I think to make a family that there is no certain number but I believe you should have at least two to make a family. 4. Theme 3-loss The kids in grimsdon need to have some personal qualities to survive grimsdon. Some of these qualities are fighting skills, intelligence, balance, common-sense and much more. Also being able to swim is very important when you are living in a flooded city.

5. Theme 4-climate change The government has been ignoring climate change and that is what caused the floods. It is very important that governments now should notice climate change and take action before it is too late. Many countries in the future may be flooded because of climate change. In grimsdon climate change is a big thing cause that is what caused the floods and it is also so what killed many including the kids in the palaces parents.
