Clarifying ?s Water Cycle Process Information Continuous process where H 2 O moves from Earth’s surface to atmosphere and back. 1) Evaporation – Liquid H 2 O absorbs energy and changes to gas H 2 O. 2) Condensation – H 2 O gas (vapor) changes into liquid – droplets collect around dust particles in air to form clouds. 3) Precipitation (rain) – As H 2 O gas (vapor) condenses the cloud grows larger/heavier, then falls back to earth.
