7. PROPS (Properties) Furnishings, set dressings, and all items large and small which cannot be classified as scenery, electrics or wardrobe.

8. Props that help to characterize the acting space are called set props. Props handled by actors are known as hand props. Props which are kept in an actor's costume are known as personal props.

9. PROPERTY MASTER / PROP MASTER Member of the Creative Team who has responsibility for all of the PROPS used in the production (US): this means both acquiring and making the Props.

10. PROPS TABLE (General Rules) 1.Keep control of the props table: no one touches any item on the table unless their character uses it. 2.Only props are kept on the props table. (Keep an eye out for cast's water bottles.) 3.Check that all props are returned to the table after each rehearsal and performance. 4.Secure all props between performances. Valuable props are safely stored away between rehearsals as well. 5.Keep tools and supplies on hand for repairs.
