2 2 Healthy Communities, Sustainable Communities The Ontario Professional Planners Institute’s more than 3,500 members are employed by all sectors and work in a wide variety of fields - urban and rural community development, urban design, environment, transportation, health and social services, housing, and economic development.

4 4 Healthy Communities, Sustainable Communities OPPI launched the Healthy Communities Initiative in the fall of 2006. In November 2007, OPPI released Healthy Communities, Sustainable Communities

5 5 Healthy Communities, Sustainable Communities Since its launch, the Healthy Communities Initiative has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response. OPPI continues to actively promote the Healthy Communities Initiative
