4 4 SERVICES Product Support ETS Product Support service utilises an Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) methodology that is a structured, systems engineering process used by a range of Defence Department and Defence Systems Suppliers to ensure that projects are fully supported through life at optimum cost. The methodology is equally applicable to any industry, where support and operating costs are commonly far greater than the design and procurement costs. ETS provides a flexible and comprehensive approach to the creation and application of the requirements of Product Support on a project-by- project basis.

6 6 Product Support LOGISTIC SUPPORT ANALYSIS (LSA) Reports Technical Manuals Spares Modelling Manpower Requirements Throughlife Cost Analysis Consumable Requirements ETS are experienced in building and maintaining logistics data to enable production of: LSA provides a complete logistics solution for the lifespan of a project by an integrated approach to the management of maintenance planning.

7 7 Product Support TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION ETS have a strong capability and experience in Technical Authoring and the creation of manuals to support various Aerospace topics to include:

8 8 Product Support MAINTENANCE MANUALS We have extensive experience of Maintenance Manual production within the aerospace sector. This covers all aspects of Aircraft maintenance and servicing including Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Structural Repair Manuals (SRM) and Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM). TYPICALLY, OUR MAINTENANCE MANUALS INCLUDE: An Introduction with Basic Technical Data Description and Operation Testing and Fault Isolation Schematics and Wiring Diagrams Disassembly Cleaning Inspection/Check Repair Assembly Special Tools Illustrated Parts Lists Preservations and Storage Information Additional information as required

9 9 Product Support PARTS LISTS Detailed Parts Lists (DPL) A list of all piece parts used to make up the equipment, this is normally used as an internal company reference document. Illustrated Parts Lists (IPL) Similar to DPL but with all items identified in a three dimensional illustration. Normally part of a Component Maintenance Manual, it is used by maintenance staff to identify spares. Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC) Produced with the same content as an IPL but as a separate manual, it is used to supplement the information in an Equipment Maintenance Manual. We can supply Parts Lists in three different formats, and whilst the information may be broadly similar, the way that information is presented will normally be different.

11 11 Product Support REPAIR & OVERHAUL DESIGN ETS can offer an experienced engineering capability for in service support activities. One current example is our ongoing support to AgustaWestland (AW) in the repair and overhaul of their military products. Our Repair & Overhaul Design team cover all in service products, MoD and Foreign export, for Sea King, Lynx, EH101 (Merlin & Cormorant), Apache, Puma and Gazelle supporting: Design and production of repair schemes for aircraft airframes, from general wear & tear to crash & battlefield damage Development of Standard Practice repair schemes for inclusion in the Aircraft Repair Manuals Technical support to customers both on and off AW main site
