Clickers are personal response systems that allow teachers to poll their class during a lesson. It provides teachers with the real-time feedback they need to be sure their messages are being received. eClicker is an example that allows students to use their smart phones. All you need to get started is the eClicker Host app running on a Wi-Fi network, and students need internet-enabled devices to participate.

“ Most students spend time reading information that Facebook puts in front of them, not what they seek out on their own. ” (Miller & Jensen, 2007)

I would like to be able to communicate with my professors via Facebook. I believe if there is more intraction with the websites that we use or want to use students would be more interested to getting online and doing the work. I think podcasts would be especially helpful if a student was sick and had to miss class because it would enable them to still hear the lecture from the day they missed. the more technology the better! A student should have a wide variety of technology to choose from. It is a good thing for the instructors to use technology because that is what this generation mainly depends on. Students would rather be on the internet than in a classroom.
