3 Overview It’s a Subjective and Objective Process. Do They Match Up? An effective search consider both!! Quality of life, Activities, Programs, Environment. It’s home for at least four years… Numbers! GPA, Rank, Test Scores, finances. (individual appointments completed, students have this data)

4 Naviance Family Connection Naviance is an all-in-one student planning resource. Career search/investigation Test Prep (ACT and SAT) College Search and Application Important Note! Family Connection is required for Quakertown students applying to college. Students must: Update Prospective & Active Applications Request Transcripts through Naviance Update College Responses Respond to Surveys (homecoming, Brag Sheets, Graduation Survey) (Application Process will be covered in a September Presentation)

14 College Admissions - Testing Students must register to take the ACT and/or SAT. ACT & SAT Test fee includes sending scores to 4 colleges free (PSU and NCAA) SAT Subject Tests are required for some colleges, usually more competitive schools (check with each school) Quakertown High School CEEB Code: 394120
