University Testing Entrance exams SAT or ACT Spring of Junior year so you have your scores by the time you apply for admission SAT is at MRHS on March 5 th and June 4 th ACT is at MRHS on April 9 th Register on-line

Free ACT for ALL MRHS Juniors On Tuesday, March 15 th You do not need to register, all Juniors will participate Be in assigned classroom by 7:40 am Late-start for the rest of the campus so Juniors will not miss class

Community College Testing Placement Tests Accuplacer and Writeplacer In order to take dual enrollment classes: ENG 101/102 MAT 142 (College Math) MAT 151 (College Algebra) MAT 152/182 (Pre-Calculus) Spring of Senior year before you register for classes

Military Testing ASVAB Must be taken prior to entering any branch of the military Given each October at MRHS

Additional Research Meet with representatives from colleges, universities, career/technical schools and the armed services that regularly visit MRHS Check the counseling calendar and listen to the announcements to be notified of their visits Visit the campuses of schools you are considering Continue your scholarship searches Inform your parents of the “Helping Your Junior Navigate the Road to College” workshop held during parent/teacher conferences
