2. Research Question Do seeds germinate faster if they are watered with fertilizer rather than water alone?

3. Hypothesis We think that the seeds that are being watered with miracle grow will germinate faster than those watered with water alone.

4. Experiment We took two different types of seeds: radish and sunflower. we then split them up in four different baggies. Two of them ( 1 of each seed) are watered with water everyday. The other two are watered with miracle grow. As the experiment takes place we begin to see if fertilizer helps seeds germinate. Or if it doesn’t work at all.

5. Conclusion We realized that watering seeds with miracle grow does not help the seeds germinate. We tried two different seeds and both of them reacted the same to the miracle grow It did not help the seeds germinate at all. It may help the plants grow but it does not speed up the germination process.

7. Why doesn’t Miracle Grow help seeds germinate? We found out that miracle didn’t help our seeds germinate because the ph balance was too high for the seeds we were using.
