Smartxt Universal Learning Project Presented by Stacey Kayden Stacey has been a High Tech Learning Specialist at Laney College in Oakland California since 1990. In addition, she travels throughout California for the High Tech Center Training Unit of the California Community Colleges training college staffs on applying assistive technology tools to college curriculum. She has also developed a state wide Universal Learning program for the California Community Colleges.

Instructor Comments: “One student was on the verge of dropping the class. I spoke with her about giving the program a try before making that decision. She decided to try the digitized text.
