Are chemically combined and cannot be physically separated. Each element loses its properties & gains new ones as the compound A)Water (H 2 O) B)Glucose (C 6 H 12 O 6 ) C)Carbon Dioxide (CO 2 )

3 B. Mixtures: Not Chemically Combined (Each part of the mixture keeps its own identity) 1.Heterogeneous – two or more substances mixed together and you can see that they are separate. a)Granite b)Sand c)Oil and Vinegar
