. Background Information By adjusting the Shadows/Highlights adjustment in Photoshop, correcting the lighting is easy to do.

. TUTORIAL 1.Open an Image and choose Image > Adjustments > Shadow/Highlight. 2.Move the Amount slider to adjust the amount of correction for your shadows and/or your highlights.

. TUTORIAL 1.If you’re happy with the results, click OK and be done with the adjustments. 2.Drag the tonal width slider to increase or decrease the range of tones adjusted in the shadows or highlights.

. TUTORIAL 1.Drag the radius slider to increase or decrease the number of pixels used in the local neighborhood. Local neighborhood is another way of saying surrounding pixels. 2.Make additional adjustments as needed: Color Correction Brightness Midtone Contrast Black Clip/White Clip 3.Click OK to apply the adjustment.
