3D LOOK AHEAD The Look Ahead is a software function allowing to optimize the cycle time according to accuracy. Cutting profiles can be executed with the highest speed allowed by the accuracy defined for that profile on the part drawing. Previous techniques, such as the FLY, allowed to speed up the cycle time, but results from the accuracy viewpoint were unpredictable. With Look Ahead results are sure: error can be set from 0.01 to 1 mm. As in car racing the curve can be “cut”, to be faster, up to the limits allowed by the racing circuit. Cutting path tolerance RAPIDO EVOLUZIONE 2

Increased performance: + 25% stiffness + 25% trajectory speed (up to 175 m/’) + 70% trajectory acc. (up to 1,4 g) Cycle time reduction: >10% (typical 15%) Reduced production costs of the part: -20% Reduced maintenance UPDATE RESULTS: RAPIDO EVOLUZIONE 2

RAPIDO EVOLUZIONE 2 FIBER ENHANCED HIGH EFFICIENCY FUMES EXTRACTION SYSTEM
14
RAPIDO EVOLUZIONE 2 FIBER ENHANCED HIGH EFFICIENCY FUMES EXTRACTION SYSTEM Metallic dust coming from high- pressure cutting of high-strength steel is a potential source of mechanical wear and contamination of the optics components. In the enhanced fumes extraction system, actively channeled flow are created sucking in the areas of stagnant air, from where the dust could settle on the machine. The air streams blow towards the cockpit hood through the cutting area.
15
RAPIDO EVOLUZIONE 2 FIBER ENHANCED MAGNETIC SCRAPS CONVEYOR: LOW MAINTENANCE AND DURABILITY. Scraps and dust are particularly hard and are able to frequently block wavebelt conveyors. Magnetic conveyors are fully sealed and also transport heavier dust out the cabin.
16
RAPIDO EVOLUZIONE 2 FIBER ENHANCED NEW DESIGN AND MATERIALS FOR BELLOWS: SEALED AND RESISTANT. Sealing of transmission systems against dust was also increased. Some horizontal surfaces that could cause an accumulation of dust have been removed. Bellows are supported in the upper zone. Additional labyrinths are located in the interface areas with the fixed frame.
17
RAPIDO EVOLUZIONE 2 FIBER ENHANCED AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION SYSTEM Some of the ball screws which are replaced before their rated life were damaged by a lack of lubrication. With the automatic lubrication system, this will not happen again.
18
RAPIDO EVOLUZIONE 2 FIBER ENHANCED ADDITIONAL SEALING SYSTEMS FOR AXIS SCREWS. Axis ballscrews are equipped with additional protective shields.
19
RAPIDO EVOLUZIONE 2 FIBER ENHANCED ENHANCED HEAD CABLES Head cables and pipes have been improved in their resistance to shocks and stresses arising from the very hevy conditions of the press hardened steel cutting.
20
RAPIDO EVOLUZIONE 2 FIBER ENHANCED SCANNER MUTING DURING TURN TABLE ROTATION. By muting the security scanner during rotation of the turn table, it prevents small scraps that fall can block the movement of the table itself. OTHER IMPROVEMENTS LARGER AIR CONDITIONER FOR TROPICAL COUNTRIES.

23
500 kg turntable payload, the bigger table frame and the longer X and Y axis, allows you to fit 4 fixtures on the rotary table and reduce the number of fixtures changes and part storage out of the press. With 4 fixtures you can also combine longer cycle times with other very short: the two pieces will be cut together with compensation. 4 FIXTURES ALWAYS READY TO GO HIGHLIGHTS

SAFETY SHUTTER INTEGRATED IN THE FIBER LASER. The safety device is much more compact and completely maintenance free. 3D LOOK-AHEAD 2° GENERATION. The software is able to achieve the best trajectory in the presence of complex movements of all axes at the maximum speed allowed by the mechanics. There are also options to give priority to speed or accuracy. RAPIDO EVOLUZIONE 2 FIBER ENHANCED OTHER IMPROVEMENTS

LASER POSITION: NEW STANDARD LAYOUT
29
LASER POSITION: SECOND OPTION The laser source remains inside the machine, but a dedicated clean and conditioned enclosure is realized. This small “laser room” is manufactured in a way that will allow an easy access for maintenance operations.
30
LASER POSITION: REMOTIZED OPTION The laser source is remote. It can be positioned up to 30 mt far from the machine in a dedicated air conditioned room. It is possible to have many laser in the same room.

FIBER LASER AVAILABLE WITH POWERS FROM 2 TO 3 KW High brilliance fiber laser with high energy efficiency, no maintenance and eco-compatible use. It gives greatest benefits for large series production. FIBER LASER Higher power density means greater cutting speed. Better absorption of laser radiation by metals at a wavelength of 1um means less power to run the process.

The graphic editor runs on the machine console. It lets you view and change, from a G- code program, the working path. It also allows you to simulate the part- program and create a new one after the changes. original and revised macro THE 3D GRAPHIC EDITOR HIGHLIGHTS
57
Movement on the path with data modified If the path is changed then the new trajectory appears to be able to visually assess differences When the operator confirms the correctness of the operation, the editor proceeds with the change of its g-code instructions and updates the graphical representation. THE 3D GRAPHIC EDITOR HIGHLIGHTS
58
Path simulation A command is used to simulate the partprogram selected. During the simulation model of the machine head is shown moving along the cutting path Fixtures clamps Markers are displayed along the trajectories to identify where commands to the clamps are programmed. The marker identifies the “open clamps” and the “close clamps” commands and the check clamp status before the movement execution. THE 3D GRAPHIC EDITOR HIGHLIGHTS
