NCCEP now allows agencies to modify protocols to reflect local practice – Medications listed in protocols match those in our local Drug List – Local agencies now have greater ownership of protocols Changes in Table of Content – 13 Categories compared to 4 previous categories – Each category has specific color around the border New appearance of each protocol - Protocol is on one page, Pearls are located on second page including local comments in purple section Buncombe/Madison/Yancey EMS 2012 Protocol Changes
