Page No. 12 pre-decisional, for internal use only 01/29/13 On-Orbit Cold Stowage Based on the approved Flight Program CR #13526 and the Research Plan’s Space X Dragon vehicle capability assumptions: Assessments show that the current complement is feasible to support nominal on orbit operations
13
Page No. 13 pre-decisional, for internal use only 01/29/13 Resolved Challenges, Issues and Concerns General Concerns Resolved: Project Meteor is being deleted from I-37/38; therefore, no integration issue. MISSE-8 Retrieval Sequencing, including hardware that is being brought inside the pressurized volume and bagged, will be handled by EVA/XA. SpX-3 Concerns Resolved: Three (3) Double Middeck Locker Equivalents (MLE) or six (6) Single MLE will be available to accommodate late load powered cargo. Six (6) late load Cold Bags will be accommodated Believe the late load complement is oversubscribed. Assessment in work Cold Stowage and Powered assets will be turned over at R+48 Cargo within the assets will be turned over NET R+51 hrs, but requires prior coordination with OC. Reduction of CGBA power requirement from 90W to 75W

Page No. 14 pre-decisional, for internal use only 01/29/13 Remaining Known Challenges, Issues and Concerns Open General Concerns: Bilateral Agreement with JAXA for use of the JEM Airlock. Discussions in Work Launch and deployment schedule for Cyclops with Lonestar and SpinSat. Contingent on JEM Airlock agreement. Crew Office Cupola policy for use of the Cupola by Payloads. Three (3) customers (was 4) requesting use of WORF Rack during the increment. Further definition of the remaining Placeholder payloads still required.

Page No. 15 pre-decisional, for internal use only 01/29/13 Remaining Known Challenges, Issues and Concerns (con’t) Open General Concerns (con’t): EXPRESS Rack-3 location protection for the ESA COL WOOV (Water On-Off Valve) Allows ER3 to operate from two locations in the Columbus module Capability was created to help resolve an ESA WOOV concern in the COL module where ESA needed access behind ER3 Requirement is undocumented & carried since Inc 29 On 1/18/13 IMC Daily Summary Report reported that the Water Temporary Substitution Manifold (WTSM) in the Columbus module was removed and the WOOV8 was installed, recovering the Columbus Thermal Control System (TCS) to full functionality Need Resolution by Feb 15 General SpX Concerns: Retrieval after landing requirements – R+51 hrs is the earliest cargo can be turned over (NOTE: CS and Powered assets are T/O at R+48 hrs). Ambient temperature constraints. Cold Stowage launch and return capacity. Early on orbit unpack requirements. Docked mission duration requirements.
