© WesternGeco Line D reflection strength display Lower Red Beds ? Line D shows the reflectivity and possible potential downdip abutting the major southern fault of the Cheleken ridge. It also appears to shale out towards the fault suggesting a seal. north south

© WesternGeco Reflection strength blob map for lines over Cheleken Ridge Lower Red Beds ? Areas of high reflectivity Good strong reflectivity north of the ridge, pinching out against the platform margins at Lower Red Bed levels. Immediately south of the ridge there are prospective princhouts against the southern bounding faults of the ridge itself Obviously there is reflectivity marked on the ridge itself, not highlighted here.

© WesternGeco Current transition survey with prospectivity 3 areas of prospectivity A1 Delta play, could extend onshore south of Erdekli A1 Delta play, could extend onshore south of Erdekli A2 Miocene ridge, running sub parallel to the onshore fields. Prospectivity is within the Red Series beleive greater potential in the Miocene. A3 Easterly extension of the Erdekli structure A2 A1 A3

© WesternGeco Delta play example L97-30-22 Delta fan play, could be extended towards onshore

© WesternGeco Delta play example flatspot L97-30-90 Flatspot within a delta fan play, could be extended towards onshore

© WesternGeco Miocene ridge potential Following slides show how the Miocene has potential as shown in the existing offshore interpretation study. The slides are ordered from south to north. They show anomolous amplitudes, flatspots and rollover structures which appear to have 4 way closure. It is proposed the new seismic should define the easterly extent of the ridge by extending it further onshore and may form part of a series of en-echelon parallel ridges running north to south. These parallel ridges form drapes over the southeast thrustzone which is a product of some deep seated tectonism when the basin was compressed
