2 Chelmsford School District Program Overview Key Accomplishments Introduction of Quantum Leap (QL) cleaning technology & processes (Blue Cleaning) Established bi-weekly quality inspection tours with all principals All open positions have been filled and new custodians have completed Aramark training procedures APPA Quality Inspections indicate quality is trending up Re-investment of custodial equipment – district wide… APPA Inspections APPA is the Association of Physical Plant Administrators. APPA defines standards for housekeeping in institutions of higher learning as well as k-12 facilities. APPA Custodial Quality levels are as defined. 1.“Orderly Spotlessness” highest level of quality 2.“Ordinary Tidiness” areas perceive to be clean however marks, dust, smudges and fingerprints are noticeable with close inspection 3.“Casual Inattention” reflects staffing related concerns, build ups of dust dirt and stains are present during inspections 4.“Moderate Dinginess” floors reflect dull appearance, horizontal and vertical surfaces contain dust marks and fingerprints, less than 5% of lights are burnt out.

3 Chelmsford School District Program Overview Overall Quality Assessments District Wide Meetings/APPA APPA Inspections APPA Inspections were completed on all buildings and scores were discussed with Principals and Leads A ranking of APPA scores were sent to all Lead Custodians to encourage friendly competition from building to building APPA Quality Inspections show a quality trending up No APPA Quality Inspections were completed for the month of December to Aramark management transition and on boarding process

Focus on client needs developed as outcome. APPA Inspections APPA Inspections were completed on all buildings and scores were discussed with Principals and Leads A ranking of APPA scores were sent to all Lead Custodians to encourage friendly competition from building to building

6 January 2014 APPA Quality Scores Custodial January Quality Assessments Meetings/APPA Principal/Custodial Meetings First month that new Director Jeff Demers met with Principals and established expectations and reviewed quality in schools First month that Principal meetings included Sherri Panneton Scheduled Bi-weekly Tours of Schools was established for the remainder of the year. FUTURE CUSTODIAL OPERATIONS Timeline 20102007 2008 -1 st Introduction of Microfiber. -Kaimotion applicator. -Ultra trak applicator for finish and urethane -Chemical mixing stations -Auto-scrubbers with FaST pack technology -Superior 30 Floor Finish -Enhanced Custodial Cart -Micro-fiber dry (dust) mops -Activeion Ionator testing -SPP Pad scrub process tested -Kaivac OmniFlex multi tool introduced -Superior 30 Floor Finish used district wide. -Power Scrub process used in place of buffers for projects. -Vinyl Floor Protector tested in 4 buildings -3 Additional T3 ECH20 auto-scrubbers purchased.
