Indicator 5.1 – The school establishes and maintains a clearly defined and comprehensive student assessment system.

The programs we use to assess students provide us with data to collect and monitor student progress. We consistently analyze test data to determine student growth and needs during our professional development time and problem solving team meetings. Collecting, Analyzing, Applying Frequent data meetings with Interventionists to determine success of RTI plans and to identify new students Problem Solving Team monthly review of student data and behaviors Grade level team meetings to review assessment data and share strategies that are working Extensive data review for classroom placements and accelerations

Indicator 5.3 – Professional and support staff are trained in the evaluation, interpretation and use of data Notes from PD Wednesdays, Problem Solving Team meetings and RtI progress monitoring meetings.

All staff meets weekly/monthly during Professional Development Wednesdays. Our EL staff meet monthly with personnel from our EL Department. Data drive what we do to help ALL students be successful. Data are Shared on a Regular Basis Our assessment results (mCLASS, Acuity, STAR, ISTEP, ISTAR, and IREAD) are evaluated and shared with the appropriate individuals (teachers, RTI staff, EL staff, support staff). Challenges are addressed during brainstorming meetings – Work through practice ISTEP tests before presenting to student – Remediation
