6. 6 AFWD Funding Streams Core Funding:  Adult, Youth, Dislocated Worker – Provide services to individuals eligible under these categories of funding.  Rapid Response – Provide lay off aversion services and to respond to business closures, mass layoffs. Special Funding:  MCLAUS, National emergency grants, Sector strategy grant, Workforce accelerator grant, Slingshot grant Partner funding:  Receive funding to provide variety of services. Fee-for-Service  Business services include workshops/training, human resource services, customized trainings for business.
