15 GSA Northwest/Arctic Region ●A highlight of the 2014 program year is the 15.4% increase in award dollars to certified small, minority, women, and disadvantaged firms across all contracting categories, from $117,486,931 in 2013 to $135,572,698 in 2014 ●Of these dollars paid to certified firms, minority businesses received $62,079,326 or 45.8%. 17 GSA Northwest/Arctic Region MBE, 428 WBE, 363 Certified SCS Firms Regional Certification A fifth consecutive year of substantial growth in the number of certified SCS firms. Minority businesses represent 428 or 18% of the 2,331 certified SCS firms.
