3. C6 - 3 What is an NLU MBA? The NLU MBA (Master of Business Administration) Program is an internationally oriented management degree program for those who want to widen their career options and fill leadership positions. Faculty members base their business school instruction on industry-focused case studies and projects so students can immediately integrate best practices into their working life.

4. C6 - 4 What it is: The NLU MBA Program prepares and enhances the students’ skills for the practice of management, emphasizing the development of authentic leadership competencies. The aim is to produce general management practitioners rather than specialists in particular functional areas. What it is not: The NLU MBA Program does not prepare students for doctoral study or an academic career. The program does not have particular areas of content specialization or concentration on passing certification or licensure exams. What distinguishes the NLU MBA?

5. C6 - 5 What is learned in the NLU MBA Program? The NLU MBA Program concentrates on leadership — integrating content knowledge and career development to help students sharpen their skills and increase their employability. Accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), the program provides students with key business skills in areas such as organizational behavior, ethics, accounting, finance, economics, project management, marketing, international management, technology, and business strategy.

6. C6 - 6 The NLU MBA Curriculum The NLU MBA Program curriculum consists of an integrated set of 13 required courses taught in English. All students take the same courses. There are no elective courses. The courses are scheduled and the lesson plans, textbooks, and learning materials are prescribed by National Louis University in compliance with American accreditation requirements, using the Desire2Learn (D2L) online platform.

8. C6 - 8 Learning Resources for NLU MBA Students NLU Learning Support - is the students’ resource for tutoring and workshops. If students have difficulty with their classes or need help writing a paper, the Learning Support team can help. Smarthinking – is available to students as a 24 hours per day, 7 days per week tutoring service. By using Smarthinking, students can have a live chat with a tutor in a specific subject area or submit a writing sample for tips and suggestions. NLU Online Student Resources - includes helpful how-to guides and videos for the D2L Online Campus tools. In addition, there are links to orientations, D2L help files, a D2L Student Demo Course Site, and student support links. NLU Library Guides - help lead students to useful information resources tailored to the MBA Program and offer online instructions for utilizing the NLU Library. Career Development, Career Beam and eRecruiting Tutorial – introduces students to the NLU Career Services Department and the online Career Beam and eRecruiting tools.

C6 - 9 For full admission without additional provisions: At least the equivalent of an accredited American bachelor’s degree or an Erasmus bachelor’s degree (at least 180 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits) in any discipline, with a grade average equivalent to at least 4.0 (dobry) achieved in Poland or at least 3.0 (“B”) achieved in the United States. The necessary computer skills (Internet, MS-Word, Excel and similar spreadsheets, database searching, and PowerPoint), based on the college-level courses passed. Satisfactory English language proficiency (defined below). Any additional requirements set by National Louis University. Provisional admission to the MBA Program is possible if the above requirements are not completely satisfied, subject to the approval by reviewers at National Louis University. 11. C6 - 11 Cost of the NLU MBA Program The cost of the NLU MBA Program at WSB-NLU is: 300 PLN application fee. 24,500 PLN paid in 6 quarterly instalments. 2,500 USD paid in 2 yearly instalments.
