10 Adding Students to the Training Center Options Information Create Sample StudentsAdd Students ManuallyUpload a Student Data File DescriptionCreating sample students allows the Test Monitor to quickly create groups of students in the Training Center. Students created using the Sample Student process will have generic student names and will not have student- specific information. This process allows for student-specific data to be used for the item samplers; however, the information is entered one student at a time. Uploading a file allows student-specific data to be loaded into the PearsonAccess Training Center to use for the item samplers. User rolesAll user rolesDistrict Assessment Coordinator, District Administrator, School Administrator, School Assessment Coordinator One of the following three options must be completed by the appropriate user role: * These options are specific to the Training Center. Students CANNOT be added to PearsonAccess for actual testing.

Practice test sessions for item samplers administered through the Training Center can be created at any time. Creating and starting a test session, approving, monitoring, and resuming students tests are very similar to online test administration in PearsonAccess. Step-by-step instructions are available in the Accessing Online Item Samplers through the Training Center document on the General tab of the Item Samplers page on PearsonAccess.Item Samplers
