3 UNCLASSIFIED Afghan Builders Association 27 January 2016 What does USACE-TAA do in Afghanistan?  Other agencies hire USACE (CSTC-A, U.S. Department of State, USFOR-A) to provide the following: − Master Planning − Project Management − Engineering − Construction Contract Procurement − Construction Contract Administration − Facility Operations & Management (O&M)  Types of Projects − Afghanistan National Defense Security Forces (ANDSF) Afghanistan National Police Afghanistan National Army − Afghanistan Infrastructure Kajaki Dam SEPS/NEPS − MILCON – Construction and O&M on NATO military bases 3
