3 F AMILY ACTION PROGRAMME Commissioned to work with 540 families across 3 years This is a voluntary programme. Our aim is to engage with families that are known to stakeholders and LA with the aim of supporting them into sustainable employment We will run from our office in London Road, Gloucester Our key point of contact will be available to speak to you on 01452 332996 London Road and 66 Bristol Road will be out main offices for delivery 7 locality offices have been made available to us by LA which will ensure we can cover the geographical areas across the county

Sarah Munday – Contract Coordinator and Key point of contact Bradley Slade – Key point of contact and PICS user Georgina Dowding – Key Worker/Tutor Jo Mathers – Key Worker/Tutor Samantha Edmonds – IAG and evening classes Our specialist tutors will be utilised according to need by the client External agencies will be utilised for specialist help and support

5 D ELIVERY M ODEL Once the referral has been confirmed by LA, Twin and JCP, PTS staff will arrange a 1-1 interview with the client An Action Plan will be created as per contractual guidelines This will determine which progress measures will be delivered, how many and when. Flexible times for engagement and learning

6 A CTION P LAN Create an action plan with a client that is open for 12 months Currently 18 progress measures to choose from. which we are satisfied will cover the needs of our families Flexible attendance hours Building relationships Able to access further provision

7 I NITIAL AND O NGOING SUPPORT Individual and Personal IAG PTS’s team of qualified IAG staff will deliver this personal service for every family member who requires it as a pre curser to their FAP action plan We will decide the best progress measures that will support the client through the programme and have identified in the first instance those that will support the work process.

8 P ROGRAMME OF DELIVERY PTS Family Communication Programme Course is 2 hours a week for 10 weeks, covering communication, barriers, talking to tots and teens, understanding body language, voice volume, pitch and tone Making the most of your local service 2 hours a week for 10 weeks. PTS will work with families that have under 5’s to help them understand what services are available and support that families engagement with the Children's centres

9 P ROGRAMME OF DELIVERY Money Matters Course is 2 hours a week for 6 weeks. PTS will facilitate online support regarding debt management along with a short course on budgeting for a family Work experience/ Volunteer placements PTS will help source a placement- 15 hours a week for 4 weeks. Working with an employer or a not for profit organisation to build confidence, refresh skills and gain references

10 P ROGRAMME OF DELIVERY Work skills/ Employability programme Course is 2/3 hours a week for 10 weeks and includes skills analysis, CV building, Interview techniques, Job search training, Mock interviews Healthy Lifestyles & exercise Course is 2 hours a week for 14 weeks and explores principles of healthy eating, basic nutrition, how the body works and understanding the importance of exercise. Participants will go on to create and undertake a personal exercise programme.

11 A DDITIONAL SUPPORT AVAILABLE ESOL Programme Vocational Training Enterprise Courses Addressing Gang Membership Register on an apprenticeship programme

12 E XTERNAL S UPPORT S ERVICES Family Counselling Addressing the Cause of Domestic Violence Condition Management Drug and/or alcohol rehabilitation services Housing Reducing Reoffending

13 I N WORK SUPPORT WORK Ongoing, individual mentoring and support in finding suitable opportunities and sustaining employment once successfully employed
