10 What is confidence? What is self esteem?

11 Confidence is the feeling or belief that one can have faith in or rely on someone or something. Self esteem is having confidence in one's own worth or abilities; self-respect.

12 Imagine a fit and healthy 16 year old and an 84 year old frail person with poor eyesight who both have to cross a busy road. Which one is going to feel confident? Why?

13 Now imagine both people again, one has to stand up to do a speech at a wedding, who is most confident now?
