Teacher Quality The teachers at OLQP are top notch. They love the students and truly have a passion for their job. OLQP educates children well, both academically and spiritually. Sense of Community and Catholic Identity I love the sense of community that is fostered at the school and the strong Catholic education that is provided. OLQP makes my daughter very happy, so it makes me happy, too. I think the school provides a very safe and nurturing environment for our kids to learn. I think the teachers and staff work very hard at their jobs and truly want the best for our children. I am thankful to be part of the OLQP family. Character Development and Work Ethic OLQP instills high quality character and work ethic into children. Homework is higher than public schools on average which teaches the children a strong work ethic. Teachers take pride in their job and work to instill strong character training (honesty, kindness, integrity) Provides a lot of value in education for the price. Love the moral education. Safe and Positive Environment OLQP provides a safe, positive environment for my child while teaching a good catholic education with a courteous and professional atmosphere.
19
Sense of Community We need to return to being a "community". Teachers, administrators, parents, and students should all treat one another as family and treat parents as partners. Academics Strengthen our academics so that we are once again teaching a grade ahead. TEKS on grade level should NOT be our standard. Technology Classroom technology and infrastructure need to be upgraded and have a systematic plan in place to implement. Teacher and Staff Morale Boost teacher/staff morale. Make OLQP a safe and happy work environment. Many were concerned about the numbers of teachers and staff leaving. Board of Trustees Transparency and openness in Board of Trustees operations
