The same distribution is true for Exxon Mobil or Microsoft. Can bottom-up decentralization help break out of this system?

Shifting Paradigms: Bitcoin 3.0— Blockchains for Collaboration [2/2] Old paradigm: inventors at universities, militaries, even nations, corporate innovation centers can cooperate with individuals, but not with each other. Closed silos -> espionage New paradigm: a technology ‘commons’ to which inventors public distribute their ideas. Invite crowd for collaboration. Snowball effect: once it starts rolling, this patent library becomes increasingly useful, valuable.

13. Sharing, not Secrecy: Market Benefits Why would commercial companies adopt decentralized patent aggregator libraries? Natural selection. Adopt it, or go bankrupt. (Small business + using Creative Patents library) > Corporate without ? Access to billions of minds (“the 99%”) continuously solving problems, sharing their solutions. Faster time-to-market, less funds wasted on R&D. Consumer wins.
