Eagle Guide Training What is an Eagle Guide (EG)? – Adult working with a Life Scout to help him understand the requirements to attain the Eagle rank – The Approved EG is a mentor/coach to youth – He/She understands and abides by the advancement policy requirements and guidelines of the Eagle rank – He/She is trained by District Advancement Chairperson – Works with Unit Advancement Chair to ensure all ranks and merit badges are properly recorded In the Internet Advancement System

Eagle Guide Training Project Workbook – Purchase – www.utahscouts.org www.utahscouts.org Using the PDF on the Council website allows the Scout to do all of his work on the computer where he can save it, make changes to it and send it to the District Advancement Eagle approval board for review. Once the project description is okayed by this board, then the Scout prints the first 9 pages, goes and gets the first three signatures and then makes an appointment to go before the approval board for final approval and signature.
