We assist people with disabilities in preparing for, finding, and maintaining quality employment that pays a living wage and offers opportunities for advancement. Our staff work closely with state, regional, and local employers, offering individualized placement services that bring employers and qualified employees together.

The RC has identified that the customer would like state employment. The RC will verify the customer’s work experience and educational level. The RC will refer customer to Jaci DeBrun Coordinator of Successful Disability Opportunities Program (SDOP) when paper work is completed.

The RC will request a CMS 100 form filled out by applicant. The RC will complete certification of eligibility. The RC will complete a narrative statement on customer’s disability. The RC will send Jaci the CMS 100, SDOP certification and narrative.

Customer will indentify job titles they are interested in applying for. Customer can access CMS’s website that displays job titles and the requirements. Customer can discuss job titles with Jaci and determine if an exam is needed. Customer fills out the CMS 100 and gives it to the RC. Customer must keep a copy of the CMS 100 to take to testing.

Testing is scheduled with Jaci Debrun. Customer passes with an A, B, or C. Customer is placed on SDOP list. Customer will need to wait for posting. Agency will need to request SDOP list.
