Introduction: - Aim of the project is to sense moving object passing from three IR sensors. Three sensor are used to sense the moving object and lights are turned ON. AT89s52 micro controller is used with requirement of project. Energy can be saved if properly implemented. Energy saving using microcontroller

AUX POWER: 230 AC voltage is given. LED: Three LED are used and one blinking LED is used. Blinking LED is used for day-night sensor. Other LEDs are connected to object moving sensor. SENSORS: Three IR sensors and one day-night sensor is used. IR sensors sense the moving object, while day-night sense the light. MICROCONTROLLER: At89s52 micro controller have to used in this project this with special function driver. At89c52 is low power, high microcontroller CMOS 8-bit microcomputer with 8K flash erasable and programmable flash memory.

AC 230v is given to circuit. Three sensors and one day-night sensor is connected to resistor. 12MHz crystal oscillator is used. 7805 voltage regulated IC. Three LED and one blinking LED is used.

System is automatic hence you don’t need manpower for giving signal and human errors are eliminated. System is reliable hence you can depend on working of the project. The system based on microcontroller hence external components are minimum. Low cost system, providing maximum automation.

From this project we conclude that energy can be saved if worked properly. This project can be implied to many public places where rush is less during night. No self-test system to detect malfunction of sensors. Requires uninterrupted power supply.
