Online dictionaries Three online dictionaries: Japhug, Khaling, Na http://himalco.huma-num.fr/dictionaries Dictionaries first written using Toolbox & MDF Céline Buret converted these dictionaries to LMF LMF: Lexical Markup Framework an ISO norm for dictionaries (ISO-TC37/SC424613) LMF describes a formal generic structure independent of its publication format. From a well-formatted unique lexicographical source (Xml), you can obtain a printable form (e.g. Word, LaTeX, Pdf) or an electronic dictionary

Conclusion Objectives of cross-linguistic comparison could possibly promote simple entries (?) but it is also highly desirable to allow for a maximally detailed structure capable of handling complex or polysemous entries, by incorporating various levels of extra information (phonological, morphological, syntactic, semantic, pragmatic, cultural) Proper use of such optional features in a published online dictionary increases its value should count towards peer-reviewed evaluation …along with other criteria such as the accessibility, sustainability, clarity and user-friendliness of the dictionary.
