I consider Millington, Tennessee my Hometown. Millington was founded in 1857. Millington is a decent sized town. There is roughly 11,000 people that live there. Every year Millington celebrates its annual Goat Days at the USA stadium. Millington also has a Naval Base where more than 7,500 troops are stationed. Brighton High School Brighton, TN GPA: 3.8 ACT: 28 Brighton High Soccer: 3 years FFA: 3 years National Honor Society: 2 years

Previous Jobs 1.Poppa T’s Pizza and Subs 2.Barnhart Crane 3.Peele’s Lawn Care My Greatest Impact My Greatest impact has to be my dad. He has taught me so many things from respect, patience, and caring for others. To shooting, basic military skills, and many other things. On my spare time I like to go shooting with my dad, go hunting, work on trucks and computers, and practice soccer.

Skills Mechanically: I’ve rebuilt 3 trucks with my dad from the ground up and I work in the Mechanics Shop at Barnhart right now and have been for a year now. Computer: I’m very familiar with computers. I work on friends and families Computers when they are messed up. Then on Sundays I record and upload The sermon to our website as well as keeping the website up to date. Electronical: I’m not very familiar with electrical systems but if I needed to learn them I’m sure I could. Social: I hate talking in front of people. Learning: I learn pretty fast and I can remember what I’ve been taught.

Achievements I’ve gone to leadership camps in Washington D.C.; Boston, Massachusetts; and Baltimore, Maryland. I made a 26 on my ACT my freshman year and a 28 my Junior. I received all district player for Munford United soccer club.

GOALS In the next 5 years I see myself graduating from the Naval Academy as a Marine Officer in Supply Logistics and starting my career in The Marines. My goal right now is getting all my paperwork done for the Naval Academy and everything else I have to send in. Academically I want to keep improving and get a better GPA and a higher ACT score. Right now I’m making sure I turn in all my paperwork on time and studying more for important test.

WORKING SUMMARY Strengths: I’m very reliable, I like to be early everywhere I go, I’m usually 10-15 minutes early. Also, things have to be organized, know matter where I am, things need to be organized. Weaknesses: One of my strengths is also my weakness. Sometimes things get so unorganized that I stop what I’m doing to get things organized. Like sometimes at work in the mechanics shop if tools or parts are everywhere, I’ll stop what I’m doing to get things organized. And yes I know this isn’t the most productive way so I have been working to not do that by waiting until the job is complete and then organizing. Work Style: I’m very reliable, I like an organized environment, and I like to be early so I don’t have to be late. Experience: I was a cook a Poppa T’s restaurant for a month until they closed. Then, in Peele Lawn Care I mowed yards. And finally, at Barnhart I’ve been a Mechanic, working on cranes, semi’s, and pickup’s.

The Naval Academy was established in 1845 under George Bancroft. The Naval Academy is the second oldest military academy in the U.S. The Naval Academy is located on Fort Severn which is 30 minutes away from D.C. There are roughly 4,500 midshipmen on campus and over 30 varsity sports available. The thing that attracted me to the Naval Academy is that it is one of the toughest schools in country. More people drop out, then stay and finish. I like the challenge and want to prove to myself if I can get into the hardest school then I can do anything. Also, It has many varsity sports that are very successful, and the leadership and skills you learn are top of the line. I would be an asset to this academy because I understand the principles everyone must hold. Then I have basic leadership skills and I am willing to learn whatever else is needed to succeed in the field, and finally I have been in a military family my whole life, so I understand the responsibilities needed to be a Marine Officer.

Well considering I don’t know what the other candidates can bring I can tell you what I can bring. My leadership skills, and my respect for those higher than me. I go shooting every weekend with my dad, I’m very athletic, I know what the military life expects of you, and all the responsibilities needed to be successful. I know a few things about the industry including: When I graduate I will be a Second Lieutenant, that when I become an officer I will be responsible for troops under me, that its my responsibility to be a better Marine and to get better everyday, and if need be, protect others before myself.
