C USTOMS AND CULTURE Japan has a rich and diverse culture. Traditional sports like Sumo, Karate and Kendo and Manga and Amine play a significant role in modern Japanese life. Japanese people generally eat fish and rice based dishes and their national drink is sake (rice wine).They look after and decorate their gardens and have tea ceremonies in them.
