ADJECTIVES Adjectives are a word or phrase naming an attribute, added to or grammatically related to a noun to modify or describe it. Examples of adjectives are, alive, angry, annoyed, annoying, apart, bad, beautiful, big, boring, and afraid Here are some examples of adjectives in sentences. He gets very angry when someone touches his toys. She was very afraid when the blizzard came through the town. The math class was very boring because we were learning about fractions.
