2 ADJECTIVES  Adjectives are a word or phrase naming an attribute, added to or grammatically related to a noun to modify or describe it.  Examples of adjectives are, alive, angry, annoyed, annoying, apart, bad, beautiful, big, boring, and afraid  Here are some examples of adjectives in sentences.  He gets very angry when someone touches his toys.  She was very afraid when the blizzard came through the town.  The math class was very boring because we were learning about fractions.
