8. Marking and Labeling: Packages and reels of lead free components and assemblies will be marked with “lf” (= lead free) on the Jauch Bar Code label. Future upgraded marking requirements will be in accordance with JEDEC and IPC requirements.

10. Soldering Differences Higher Temperature For Lead Free Soldering Lead free solders have a higher temperature for reflow requirement, 15 o C ~ 20 o C higher as compared to traditional solders temperatures. Longer Time For Lead Free Soldering Lead free solders require longer reflow time: 50sec ~ 60sec longer as compared to the traditional reflow soldering.
