CLASSES OFFERED AT KTEC 2012 – 2013 AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY DIESEL TECHNOLOGY COMPUTER REPAIR & NETWORKING HEALTH PROFESSIONS / CNA CONSTRUCTION TRADES INDUSTRIAL WELDING & METAL FABRICATION RESORT ACADEMY ENGINEERING DESIGN & AUTOMATED MANUFACTURING All students will be earning Math credits while enrolled in their PTE program

2 Year Program (May be taken for 1 or 2 years) NATEF (Nat’l Automotive Technician Education Foundation)Certified Program College Credit Available Designed for students who intend to enter the Diesel Engine & Heavy Equipment repair field. Students will Earn High School Math Credits

2 Year Program (May be taken for 1 or 2 years) A+ and NET + Certified Program College Credit Available Students will Earn High School Math Credits

2 Year Program Year 1 is an introduction to Health Professions. Year 2 is Certified Nursing Assistant & Pharmacy Tech NACEP (Nursing Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program ) College Credit Available Students will Earn High School Math Credits

2 Year Program (May be taken for 1 or 2 years) NCCER (Nat’l Center for Construction Education and Research) Certified Program College Credit Available Students will Earn High School Math Credits

Combines theory and applied shop practices designed to develop welding skills in: OAC (oxy-acetylene cutting) SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) GMAW (gas metal arc welding) GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding) Blueprint reading layout procedures metallurgy safety 2 Year Course (May be taken for 1 or 2 years) AWS (American Welding Society) Certified Program College Credit Available Students will Earn High School Math Credits This program complies with national standards established by the American Welding Society (AWS) and is taught by an AWS certified welding instructor.

2 Year Program (May be taken for 1 or 2 years) Partners the high schools and the Coeur d’Alene Resort to provide a comprehensive curriculum in the hospitality and tourism industry Certified Program College Credit Available Students will Earn High School Math Credits

2 Year Program Designed for students who desire to begin their careers in either Engineering or Engineering Technology. This course is based upon Industry Standards for a broad range of the Manufacturing Industries. Specific subject matter will include: Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CAD) Electronics & Electro-Mechanical Manuel and CNC Machining Hydraulics & Pneumatics Motor Controls & Automation Robotics & Programmable Logic Controls Gears & Linkages Safety Management This course can be taken as a 1 or 2 year course and students will be working toward industry certifications.

All students who enroll in classes will earn 3 to 3.5 High School credits per semester 2 to 2.5 PTE credits 1 PTE math Credit May apply for college credits
