2 STUDENT PLACEMENT PROCESS Student placements in Math, English, Science, Social Studies and International Language are made by VHHS department supervisors with input from the following sources: MAP test scores - December MAP test scores - December 8 th grade teacher recommendation of student - January 8 th grade teacher recommendation of student - January Middle School and High School articulation - January Middle School and High School articulation - January

3 INDIVIDUAL STUDENT PLACEMENT Academic Course Recommendations will be mailed the first week of February. EnglishMath International Language Science Social Studies You MUST use these recommendations to complete your course request form.

4 Student Placement  Time prohibits the discussion of individual student placement this evening.  If you have questions about placement, please contact the respective Department Supervisor at VHHS prior to February 13, 2015 to discuss the placement.

13 Stuff You Need for Athletics BEFORE You Start! Current Physical – Your physical must be valid for the entire season for you to be able to participate. Please get your physical in the summer months so it will be valid for the fall, winter and spring seasons.
