STARTER What injuries have you suffered as a result of playing sport?

Injury The chances of getting injured through playing sport are quite high and most performers will experience on at some point. Injury prevention is important and every precaution should be taken to minimise the risk

Group 1 – Techniques and safe practice Group 2 – Internally caused injuries Group 3 – externally caused injuries (foul play / impact injuries) Group 4 – equipment / clothing Group 5 – precautions Give relevant examples where necessary

TASKTimer Timer Create a poster using key words, phrases and pictures on your topic using the book. One person will then stay behind to teach one group at a time Travelling group members must note down important information from each station in their books After all stations are visited, return to your group and teach each other what you have learnt.
