5. Cinquain 1 st line: One noun 2 nd line: Two adjectives that describe the noun 3 rd line: Three –ing words that express action 4 th line: Four word phrase that expresses feeling 5 th line: One synonym for the noun in the first line

8. Poem #4 – Diamonte 7 Lines long and forms a diamond Lines 1 and 7 are opposite nouns Lines 2 and 6 are two ing verbs that refer to the closest noun. Lines 3 and 5 contain three adjectives describing the closest noun. Line 4 contains 4 nouns: two that relate to the noun in line 1 and two that relate to the noun in line 7.
