Hook Review the Abstract for Chapter4 – Chapter 5 to jog the students’ memories Chapter 4 - Chapter 5 Abstract *Chapter 4: Slakk is caught retrieving the brush from the showers by Likkarn, who, when smoking blisterweed, is uncontrollably violent. * Slakk betrays Jakkin to Likkarn about the brush, and Likkarn goes to beat Jakkin. * Blood Brother becomes agitated while sensing Likkarn's mood and becomes violent as Likkarn beats Jakkin unconscious. * Blood Brother escapes and opens an old wound, the blood spraying all over the unconscious Jakkin and burning him. * Likkarn gets a stun gun and sets it to kill instead of stun and kills Blood Brother out of anger that the dragon had caused Likkarn to lose money in the last fight. * Chapter 5: Jakkin awakens in the hospital, being cared for by Akki. * Jakkin, not knowing he's been in the hospital for a week, attempts to get up and go to the nurseries to steal the egg he wants, but he reopens a wound and passes out. * Akki informs him of the day and that the eggs have hatched and Jakkin cries in frustration. * Likkarn and Sarkkhan have a tremendous fight about Likkarn killing Blood Brother and Sarkkhan takes Likkarn's gold and demotes Likkarn to a stall boy. * Jakkin knows he has missed his chance for an egg.
